How dry I am. How dry we'll be….

Ugh. I just read that ALL of Virginia is now under a drought watch. A news release issued by the Virginia Department of Environmental Quality is urging all residents to minimize non-essential water use and to do their part to conserve water to help protect water supplies.

  1. It has been so dry and hot here in Central VA, two hits to the garden at the same time. I am mulching with straw, grass clippings, whatever I can get my hands on. The worst is that tomato pollen becomes non-viable at these high temps and the plants won't set fruit.
